Being a leader also means being a good role model for those whom you lead. Exhibiting good leadership skills may be exemplary, but what sets an effective leader apart, is when he or she is able to put others before themselves. We believe that Servant Leadership is key to being a role model and a contributor to society at large.
Hence in this module, students get to experience through a scenario-based game, what it might be like to be an elderly person with joint pains or wheel-chair. Building empathy then allows them to take the first steps to being a servant leader. Some schools even take on the challenge of a community service project, where learnt skills are then practically applied.
